Milwaukee, a renowned brand under the global conglomerate Techtronic Industries (TTI), has inaugurated a state-of-the-art logistics and distribution center in Magnice, within the Kobierzyce municipality near Wrocław, Poland. This strategic development underscores Milwaukee's commitment to enhancing its supply chain efficiency and expanding its footprint across Central and Eastern Europe.

Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation specializes in the development, manufacturing, and sale of power tools and accessories, including hand tools, personal protective equipment, and garden tools. Their products cater to professionals such as construction workers, plumbers, mechanics, electricians, roofers, carpenters, arborists, and urban greenery managers. Since 2005, Milwaukee has operated as a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Techtronic Industries.

Details of the Logistics Center

The newly established facility spans approximately 73,000 square meters—equivalent to over ten football fields—within the Wrocław South Logistics Hub, developed by Panattoni. Managed by DSV - Global Transport and Logistics, the center operates under a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) model, handling product reception, storage, packaging, and distribution for the Milwaukee brand.

Operational Scope and Expansion

As of May 2024, the center commenced operations, serving Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. By August, its reach extended to Sweden, Norway, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Denmark, and Finland. In the final quarter of 2024, the facility plans to further expand its services to Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Israel, Slovenia, Turkey, Serbia, and Malta, ultimately covering a total of 20 countries.

This investment aligns with Milwaukee's strategy to meet the growing demand for its products and to enhance competitiveness in the region. Konrad Lewicki, General Manager Eastern Europe at Techtronic Industries Eastern Europe Sp. z o.o., emphasized that the logistics center will "contribute to increasing the fluidity of warehouse processes and the efficiency of supply chains," thereby strengthening Milwaukee's market position.
