Chinese Firm Secures Rights to Produce Certified Flying Cars from Slovak Innovator Klein Vision
In a landmark move for the transportation sector, Hebei Jianxin Flying Car Technology from China has obtained the rights to manufacture and sell certified flying cars, following an agreement with Slovakia's Klein Vision in March. This deal marks a significant step towards introducing these innovative vehicles to the Chinese market.
Klein Vision, the Slovak entity behind this pioneering flying car technology, has voiced its approval of the new partnership. Stefan Klein, the company's chairman, expressed enthusiasm about transferring the license for their certified flying car technology to the reputable Chinese firm, highlighting the deal as a pivotal moment in their quest to redefine global mobility solutions. Anton Zajac, a co-founder of Klein Vision, also praised the agreement, noting its importance in advancing the industry forward.
The dual-functionality flying car, capable of seamless transitions from road vehicle to aircraft in under three minutes, promises to significantly enhance mobility. Capable of speeds up to 300 km/h and with a range exceeding 1,000 km, the vehicle combines efficiency with flexibility in a groundbreaking manner.
Crucially, in 2022, the vehicle earned its Certificate of Airworthiness from the Slovak Transport Authority, a testament to its safety and compliance with aviation standards. Achieving this certification required extensive flight testing, with the vehicle logging 70 hours in the air and meeting the European Aviation Safety Agency's rigorous safety protocols, aligning it with global aviation requirements.
