GLP Gears Up for Expansion Near Wrocław, Poland; Static Control, a leading manufacturer and supplier of printer accessories, has secured a spot at the fully occupied Wrocław V Logistics Centre in Magnice, just outside Wrocław. With the current premises fully leased, GLP is setting the stage for further development within the area later this year.
Static Control has inaugurated a distribution center spanning over 7,000 square meters.
Juan Carlos Bonell, CEO of Static Control, emphasized the significance of growth in continental Europe, stating, "Investments like these are crucial for enhancing our customer service levels. Being closer to our customers means we can cut down delivery times by as much as two days."
Situated adjacent to the S8 expressway, the GLP Wrocław V Logistics Centre benefits from excellent connectivity to major motorways and expressways, including the A4, A8, S3, and S5, facilitating seamless transportation and logistics operations.
The facilities at GLP Wrocław V Logistics Centre are outfitted with eco-friendly features such as intelligent metering systems, LED lighting, and solar panels. The site also provides employee-friendly amenities, including landscaped relaxation areas with gazebos and benches, as well as bike shelters and charging stations for electric vehicles and e-bikes.
Spread across a 50-hectare area, the GLP Wrocław V Logistics Centre is poised to ultimately offer nearly 240,000 square meters of warehouse and production space. An additional expansion of 66,000 square meters is on the blueprint for later this year, underscoring GLP's commitment to bolstering its logistical capabilities in the region.
