Siempelkamp Group, via its subsidiaries, Strothmann Machines & Handling GmbH and Pallmann is send-ing vital equipment to Lithuania. The company which specialises in handling and automation solutions and, through Strothmann in particular, plays a leading roll in the timber-based industry. The company finds its services in high demand across a variety of industries, including those like Klaipedos Mediena who are key movers in the wood-based market.
Klaipedos Mediena recently received a delivery of the combination "RoundTrack® + knife ring" from Strothmann to take advantage of the great advantages it provides for operational efficiency. The technology is advanced enough to produce efficient production, flow and assembly and helps with the logistics involved in moving vast quantities of products. The "RoundTrack® particularly has been shown to help increase the load moved by one employee to around 5 tons, due mainly to its cutting edge de-sign that has minimised its rolling resistance, it is now possible to move loads of thousands of kilos much more easily.
Strothmann offers a whole range of solutions from the fully automated AVGs (driverless transport ve-hicles) right through to the most basic manually operated transportation trolleys. The company uses the most modern equipment, specification, design and materials to make sure that safety standards within the industry remain high.
