Educational startup Clanbeat has entered the Ukrainian market through a collaboration with the humanitarian aid organization Mondo, aiming to introduce a new mental health solution to the country. The initiative has already seen participation from 25 Ukrainian schools.
Clanbeat’s solution focuses on mapping the mental well-being of school communities in the Zhytomyr region. This approach provides a comprehensive understanding of how the war has impacted the mental health of students and school staff, connecting them with appropriate support services.
“The war has plunged the people of Ukraine into a mental health crisis, with one in five Ukrainians struggling. Nearly ten million people are not only dealing with the war's aftermath but also facing issues like depression, anxiety, and more severe disorders such as psychosis,” explained Viktoria Ishkina, Mondo’s Ukraine project manager.
This partnership aims to address these mental health challenges, offering much-needed support and resources to Ukrainian school communities during this difficult time.
