The PAIH (Polish Trade and Investment Agency) has confirmed that the Taiwanese based Iron Force will complete the building of a new automotive accessories factory in 2023. The factory will be based in Zabrze, southern Poland, and looks set to provide over hundred people with jobs.
In Tuesday’s press release the Vice President of the Iron Force Group, Camden Lee, was quoted as saying that because of the opening of the Polish plant their dealings with clients worldwide, and particularly in Europe will be improved.
The company is a specialist manufacturer of motor vehicle airbag inflators and seatbelt components. The total cost of their investment in the Polish factory is around zł80million or €18.64million.
Up until now only a small part of PAIH’s portfolio has been accounted for by investments with Taiwanese capital. The agency has worked closely with it’s counterpart in Taiwan (InvesTaiwan) leading to an agreement to cooperate in promoting investment. The agreement was signed when PAIH opened their new Foreign Trade Office in September in Taipei.
PAIH Acting President Krzysztof Senger confirmed that the Iron Force factory represents the second factory project PAIH has undertaken with Taiwan since since 2016 and, the launch in 2017 of the iTutorGroup training platform
Iron Force Industrial is located in New Taipei, Taiwan. Since it was founded in 1977 it has been a major producer of automotive parts. The new Zabrze factory will be located in the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEZ).
