Audi, the distinguished German automotive manufacturer, is allocating HUF 1.5 billion for an innovative training initiative at the Audi Ahead Shared Competency Center (SCC) in Hungary, aiming to train approximately 500 staff members as the automotive industry veers towards electromobility. This was reported by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, and has been corroborated by official news reports.
To augment this educational endeavor, the government is extending support with a financial contribution of HUF 750 million. Audi Ahead primarily extends its services to entities within the Volkswagen Group.
Péter Szijjártó highlighted Audi's pivotal role in propelling Hungary's economic ascent in preceding years. Audi has invested approximately HUF 4.5 trillion in its Hungarian operations, emerging as a principal exporter in the nation. With over 12,000 employees, Audi Hungaria manufactured 1.6 million engines and 171,000 automobiles in Győr the previous year.
Szijjártó praised Audi’s endeavors in fostering economic evolution in Hungary, transitioning from the "Made in Hungary" phase to the "Invented in Hungary" epoch.
