BSH Home Appliances Group, a global leader in home appliance manufacturing, is expanding its operations in Central Eastern Europe (CEE) with a major investment in Poland. In collaboration with Panattoni, a leading industrial real estate developer, BSH will construct a cutting-edge factory in Rudna Wielka, near Rzeszów. This new facility, valued at nearly 600 million PLN, will replace the company’s current small home appliances production site, marking a significant milestone in BSH’s presence in Poland.
A New Facility Designed for Growth and Sustainability
The 73,000-square-meter facility will include a production hall, logistics hub, and office spaces, all designed with high sustainability standards. Scheduled for completion by mid-2026, the factory is strategically located just five kilometers from Rzeszów, providing excellent connectivity via highways, expressways, and public transportation.
According to Richard Dalacker, Head of BSH’s Rzeszów branch:
"With the new factory, we are paving the way for further development in Rzeszów and the introduction of new devices into production. This modern facility is designed to provide not only advanced manufacturing capabilities but also excellent working conditions with ergonomic workstations and abundant natural light."
Boosting Employment and Regional Development
The factory will create over 1,000 jobs, reinforcing BSH’s role as a key business partner in the Podkarpacie region. Special emphasis during the design phase was placed on ensuring employee safety, comfort, and quality working conditions, including wide communication paths and a spacious cafeteria.
Konrad Pokutycki, President of BSH Poland, highlighted the importance of Poland within the company’s global strategy:
"This new factory represents another milestone for BSH and confirms our confidence in Poland as a key market within Central Eastern Europe. Over the past 30 years, we’ve grown significantly in Poland, creating over 7,000 jobs across six factories, logistics centers, R&D facilities, and shared service centers. We’ve invested nearly 1.5 billion euros, contributing to the economic development of the cities and regions we operate in. This new investment further cements our long-term commitment to the Polish market."
A Proven Partnership with Panattoni
This project is the latest in a series of successful collaborations between BSH and Panattoni, including the construction of a dishwasher factory in Łódź.
Marek Dobrzycki, Partner at Panattoni, emphasized the significance of the partnership:
"We are delighted that BSH has once again chosen to work with us on this strategic investment. This factory will not only meet BSH’s high expectations but also contribute to the region’s development and further strengthen Poland’s home appliances industry, which is already a leader in Central Eastern Europe. The success of such projects lies in combining our expertise with the ability to quickly adapt to the client’s needs, creating modern and sustainable production facilities for global market leaders."
