Walki Set to Boost Employment and Expand Eco-Friendly Packaging Production in Wrocław

Walki, a key subsidiary of the Finnish Walki Group, is set to enhance its operational capabilities in Wrocław, Poland, following a significant expansion of its factory premises. The expansion includes an additional 10,400 sqm, effectively doubling the warehouse space to a total of 21,000 sqm.

In line with this expansion, Walki has announced plans to augment its workforce by 50-70 new employees. Currently, the Wrocław plant, operational since 2012 and one of Walki Group's two production facilities in Poland, boasts a dedicated team of 100 staff members. These employees are involved in producing an array of products, including packaging materials for the paper industry, barrier liners, and flexible packaging materials.

Aiming to bolster its commitment to sustainability, Walki is looking to invest in advanced technology within the new building. This technology will enable the production of modern, eco-friendly packaging solutions, aligning with the company's strategy to innovate materials for a closed-loop economy.
