Amazon continues its growth in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) by opening its 11th logistics center in Gorzyczki, Poland. This 211,000 sq m facility is set to create over 1,000 permanent jobs in its first year and will serve as a key hub for handling large, non-sortable items such as furniture. The new warehouse strengthens Amazon's logistics network across the CEE region, enhancing its ability to meet growing demand.

Entry-level workers will earn a competitive wage of €7.78 per hour gross, with additional benefits such as private medical care and free transportation on designated routes. Since establishing operations in Poland a decade ago, Amazon has invested over €4.57 billion, contributing more than €3.45 billion in wages and creating over 70,000 direct and indirect jobs.

This latest investment reinforces Poland’s role as a critical logistics hub for Amazon's European operations, capitalizing on the country’s strong infrastructure and strategic location. Amazon’s continued expansion reflects its commitment to long-term growth in the CEE region, building partnerships and supporting local economies through job creation and investment.
