| CO2 cutting system as an integration solution Two laser scanner units were mounted on frame construction units under a tangential arrangement to the circular-indexing table of an angle of 105° to each other. 8 clamping units, which position two mobile phone displays each connected by a runner, are mounted on the circular-indexing table of a 600 mm diameter.
The loading of the clamping units will take place automatically through a conveying belt. In order to warrant the required cycle time of 1.5 seconds two lasers will be permanently in operation. The programming of the off-set laser scanner units is designed in such a way that the control will recognize the position of the circular-indexing table (1, 2, 3 ... 7 or 8). The coding will be given to the LSE program and the suitable branch mark will be activated. |
| TL 1220 - CS (Conveying System) Different workpieces of lot size 1 will be automatically fed to the laser system through a conveying belt that, in addition to more peripheral units, was integrated to master the marking task . A diode-pumped solid-state laser of an average power of 20 watts was selected for the existing marking task.
The workpiece that might have any position on the system palette will be fed from the conveying belt to the laser system. Loading of the palettes can be carried out by an industrial robot or manually, resp. By means of a bar code or a data-matrix-code on the system palette or by means of pattern or object recognition the integrated camera and image processing system will identify the type of workpiece and the position of that workpiece on the palette. By calling the suitable software program the XY and C axes will be interpolated according to the actual object position, and the Z-axis interpolation will be performed according to the height of the workpiece.
The laser scanner unit will run into its focussing position and the marking process will be started. The marked workpiece will be unloaded through the conveying belt. The process will be continued with the next workpiece. | |
