Concrete test hammer
Addressing the industry need to create a concrete test hammer that can deliver accurate readings on virtually any concrete from any direction, on any surface without the need to compensate for impact direction, Switzerland-based Proceq announces the new SilverSchmidt concrete test hammer.
Corrosion gauge
The CANIN+ instrument provides two methods for investigating and assessing the corrosion of steel in concrete. • Measurement of corrosion potential of the reinforcement • Measurement of electrical resistivity of reinforced concrete components The instrument highlights corrosion activity before rust becomes visible. This early detection can be key in preventing an unanticipated structural failure.
EQUOSTAT
The Equostat is a practical complement to Proceq’s portable rebound hardness testers as it resolves most limitations associated with the dynamic testing method. While rebound hardness testers are not suitable to measure very light parts of certain geometries, the portable Equostat is well-suited for testing light, thin-walled or tubular parts. The Equostat measures according to the Rockwell principle where the penetration depths under a defined preload are measured before and after application of a larger force. These low-load penetration depth measurements are accurate, rapid and reproducible. The difference between the before and after penetration depths reflects the plastic deformation and, therefore, the hardness.
Portable hardness tester
EQUOTIP PICCOLO is a revolutionary new rebound hardness tester featuring a new patented load & release mechanism - the impact body is launched at the surface and loaded for the next test in a single motion!

Cocoa Processing
In co-operation with its subsidiary BAUERMEISTER, PROBAT plans and delivers complete plants for the cocoa industry. We specialise in plants and plant components for the production of cocoa mass, starting from receipt of the cocoa beans through to grinding and blocking-off. A speciality of PROBAT is the development of plants for so-called nib roasting. We design and manufacture both batch roasters as well as continuous roasting systems. Both can be perfectly configured to produce the required cocoa quality. A further highlight of our plant technology is the ShellCon FSC pretreatment system. An important advantage: The preparation for separation of shell and nib takes place extremely gently and effectively. In contrast to conventional systems, the cocoa nib is thermally protected due to the special mode of operation with benefits for the environment due to the possibility of heat recovery. This energy saving contributes to reducing operating costs. Complemented by the range of machines of BAUERMEISTER, we provide complete grinding plants – also turnkey on request – as well as individual machines with an output of 2, 4, 6 and up to 8 t/h.
Green Coffee Cleaning
Before storage the delivered green coffee is cleaned and weighed. In some plant configurations this takes place in reverse order. The green coffee received is cleaned of dust and other light particles such as bag fluff and grains of sand while larger foreign particles are sieved out via vibration. Finally, metal parts are removed. Air cleaner Circular sieve cleaner Metal eliminator Dust extraction units
Green Coffee Receipt
Green coffee receipt encompasses the process steps of green coffee receipt in a coffee roasting plant to storage in green coffee silos. Green coffee can be delivered either in single bags, in 60 kg bags stacked on palettes, in larger container bags (big bags) or even as a bulk commodity in containers or on trucks. Depending on the packaging at receipt, various auxiliary equipment can be used to depalletise, decollate and transport it into the coffee refinement plant. When emptying the delivered bags the green coffee is quality checked. This is done either manually or automatically using a green coffee sampler. At the same time, green coffee moisture can be measured. Green coffee dumping station Belt conveyor
Green Coffee Transport
Depending on the application area the requirements for a conveying system can differ considerably. PROBAT thus offers various conveyor systems tailored to respective needs. A rough differentiation can be made between mechanical and pneumatic conveyor systems. PROBAT’s mechanical conveyor systems are usually constructed in a more simple way and thus less flexible. However, because of their modular construction, local conditions can be considered without cost-intensive adaptations. In comparison to pneumatic systems, investment costs are significantly lower, especially in cases of short and straight conveying paths. Pneumatic conveying systems transport the product via high pressure or low pressure. In principle, conveying always takes place in closed pipe or tube systems. Pneumatic conveyor systems are characterised particularly by conveyor lines that can be flexibly laid out and by the largely arbitrary number of pick-up and dumping stations that can be selected. 2D LASER CUTTING
Today laser cutting is one of the most widespread material processing techniques, particularly for flat (2D) or bended and formed (3D) sheet metal. Compared to mechanical tools (shearing, punching, milling, etc.), the laser has many benefits: maximum application flexibility: any material can be virtually processed (all kinds of steel, aluminium and its alloys, titanium and many other metallic materials, but also the greatest part of plastic materials). no limit to the shapes which can be obtained: any path, also the most complex one and the most sharp corners, can be cut, since the laser tool is punctiform. superior accuracy and no part distorsion caused by heat and mechanical stress of the tool; no tool wear. Many thousands of 2D laser systems are at work all over the world. Higher production rhythms - and therefore higher cutting speed on all materials - and more and more efficient systems for loading/unloading/storing of raw and finished sheets are increasing requirements in this sector. These are associated to the problems of the collection and treatment of the fumes and dust produced during the process, and of the protection of the operator and the environment. In order to grant the widest application flexibility, the highest performances and safety standards, PRIMA INDUSTRIE 2D machines use CO2 lasers, mostly manufactured within the Group, and PRIMA ELECTRONICS numerical controls. Unique responsibility and total control of the technology are thus granted. Many machines are dedicated to intensive production within a totally automated industrial process, but the most typical user is the high quality job-shop, exploiting the performances and the flexibility of the laser tool for his daily achievement on the market.
Material Handeling
Thanks to their increasing performances and reliability, today laser machines are widely used also for intensive production. Efficient systems for the raw and finished parts handling are therefore becoming more and more important. For 2D applications PRIMA INDUSTRIE offers its complete line of automatic sheet metal handling systems: PrimaServer For 3D applications PRIMA INDUSTRIE offers some standard solutions: Turntables "Monofrontale" loading/unloading systems Whatever your needs, PRIMA INDUSTRIE can develop the most proper solution thanks to its wide and qualified experience in this sector.

BAT-DL-CNC for drilling and mounting hinges
BAT-DL-CNC for drilling and mounting hinges, the entire vertical bolt lock and the baffle board in the pass. Automatic CNC-controlled drilling and assembly machine for drilling and mounting hinges, the entire vertical bolt lock and the baffle board in the pass. The hinges can be fed either via magazines or vibration hoppers. The entire vertical bolt lock, including the loop, closing hook and closing bar, is inserted manually by the machine operator into the pressure insertion matrices and then assembled complete on the workpiece from below. The baffle board can be assembled at a second station. Feeding is via a magazine. There is a further option of handle drillings or recesses for a shell handle. The workpieces can be fed via one of the separately listed PBA configuration systems.
BAT-DTW-CNC Drilling and assembly machine
Drilling and assembly machine BAT-DTW-CNC for order batch production of carcase parts, such as shelves, side panels and fronts/doors. Thanks to the linear concept in longitudinal throughfeed (cycled workpiece), even one-off parts do not require make-ready times. Six sides of the workpiece can be processed in one pass through the machine. Amongst others, centre panels can be processed from above and below and horizontally in one throughfeed. In addition to processing steps for drilling, it is also possible to not only assemble fittings, such as, for instance, mounting plates, shelf supports and joining fittings on one side from above, but also from both sides from above and from below. Special design transport systems in the infeed and outfeed of this machine ensure transport without gaps and, as a result, continuous workpiece processing. Due to its flexible modular design, this machine line can be customised for every requirement
BAT-II-CNC Drilling and assembly machine
BAT-II-CNC Drilling and assembly machine for cup hinges and handle drillings for furniture production on commission or for batch production. The BAT-II-CNC is based on the long-serving and proven BAT-II model, but, like the BAT-IV-CNC, it is fitted with a CNC display control. The insertion of the fittings and the drilling of the handle holes are carried out simultaneously on the BAT-II-CNC by two or four units in order to achieve a greater output. While the hinges are being inserted a unit, which can be moved electronically in the X or Y axis, is drilling handle holes, buffer drillings or all the drillings required for the lock or vertical bolt lock. The drilling and pressure insertion units are positioned as desired either with our familiar automatic width adjustment, which uses cams and limit switches and has been tried and tested a thousand times over, or via NC axis with ball roller spindle and three-phase servo motor. The machine can be re-set to a new drilling pattern in a matter of seconds by entering a multi-digit program number under which all the required measurements are stored in the memory. This effectively cuts out any waste production as a result of incorrectly set units.
BAT-III-CNC Drilling and assembly machine
BAT-III-CNC Drilling and assembly machine for cup hinges, door buffers, adaptors and locks with single or dual-location processing and automatic workpiece feed. The BAT-III-CNC machine can be used in all sectors of furniture production on account of its versatility. All processing processes necessary on any given workpiece can be carried out on this machine during a work set-up. The various accessory options for this machine are drilling and pressure insertion units for cup hinges, also with a multiple magazine for different crankings, or completely different hinges, drilling and pressure insertion units for door buffers, drilling units for handles, locks, closing hooks, flap hinges, pull-out fittings, pilot drillings, top router units for key holes or shell handle cut-outs. If the machine has dual-location facility, i.e., while one part is being processed, a finished part can be removed and a new part inserted, this reduces to a minimum the downtime spent handling. Naturally, this machine can also be fitted with the CNC modules of the other machines
BAT-RTW-CNC Drilling and assembly machine
Drilling and assembly machine BAT-RTW-CNC as round indexing machine for highly efficient front/door order batch production. Depending on customer requirements, this round indexing machine can be subdivided into two stations or even four to achieve higher outputs. The two-station machine is designed with the first station for the supply and remove the workpieces. The second station is the processing station accommodating all drilling units and assemblies. The main processing step in this machine is also from below. As with the four-station machine, the workpieces are handled automatically. The first station of a four-station machine is the supply station, and the fourth station is the removal station. The main drilling cycles are made in the second station whereas all fittings, such as hinges, absorber buffers and adapter systems are usually fitted in the third station. Modern pick-and-place handling systems ensure the supply of the fittings. Workpiece supply and removal of this concept are automatic, either via transport belts or fully automatically by means of robot systems directly out of or into order batch carriages.
BAT-TAX-CNC Drilling and assembly machine
Drilling and assembly machine BAT-TAX-CNC for front/door and carcase part order batch manufacture. This machine cycles the workpiece linearly through the processing station. The arrangement of the assemblies is similar to that of the proven concept of the BAT-III-CNC. Similar to this machine type, random processing of almost all front/door parts is possible. In its basic version, this machine is manually controlled. Although designed for one operator, the new insertion concept helps achieve both character and efficiency of a two-station machine. In this manner, maximum ergonomics is achieved for the operator with a small space requirement. The fittings are supplied from the operating side via magazines or vibration hoppers in close vicinity to the operator. To increase the output and achieve continuous processing, the assemblies can be linearly subdivided into several stations. The degree of automation of the machine line can be notably increased and the machine utilised more efficiently by the addition of automatic supply and removal systems. Solutions as a production cell or as a throughfeed station are possible.
